In 2018, the USF Health Development Office contracted Sky Lake Studio to visually refresh their long-standing alumni magazine, “The Bulletin.” The overall look was lightened, simplified, and made more colorful. This was an important redesign in light of the already underway fundraising efforts for the new Morsani College of Medicine facilities in downtown Tampa.
Sky Lake Studio was asked to do a cosmetic and functional update of the Café con Tampa website. Sky Lake Studio worked with the USF Health Office of Development to create this fundraising campaign logo and mailer for the USF College of Nursing. The focal piece of the logo is a stylized flame evoking the lamp of Florence Nightingale, a universal symbol of the nursing profession. The flame shape was carried throughout the mailer.
In 2019, Sky Lake Studio assisted the Pinellas County Medical Association with a number of brand update projects. Among the most dramatic was the re-design of their html-formatted newsletter, distributed via Constant Contact. We created a simpler, cleaner look with a strong visual hierarchy. In addition to increasing the professional appearance and readability of the newsletter, the re-design delivered a nice increase in click-throughs for the client.
Sky Lake Studio partnered with Tucker/Hall to create the logo, website and related print materials for The Florida Maritime Partnership. This local group was formed to advocate on behalf of the significant maritime industry in the state of Florida. Sky Lake Studio did the creative work on all pieces, including a brochure with infographic section that was used in lobbying efforts.
