Image cards are used for everything from products to team member bios. Everything is customizable, and these can be animated as well. 3-4 items per row looks best.

Overlay content box
Similar to image cards except these show a background image with more information appearing on mouseover. Everything is customizable. 3-4 items per row looks best. Content boxes and image cards are good options if you want to see all thumbnails at once.
Background switcher
Similar to previous, except background image covers the width of the column. Image changes and more information appears on mouseover. Everything is customizable. 3-4 items per row looks best.
Image and Video content slider
As described in the title. Timing is editable (the demo runs way too fast for my taste) as are all colors and fonts. This side by side blocking could be done without the slider, too, we’d just stack rows, alternating sides for the text block and video.
