At Sky Lake Design Studio we apply knowledge of color, type, imagery and layout to create graphic design work that is unique, engaging and purposeful.
We create effective work for businesses and non-profits, large and small. Our portfolio includes complex print design (magazines, annual reports), web design (media-rich, responsive, visually appealing and user-friendly), branding, presentations decks, proposal design and creation of multimedia assets for general web and social media sites.
Sky Lake Studio founder Rebecca Hagen has more than 20 years of design experience. In addition to her client work, she taught graphic design at the University of South Florida’s School of Mass Communication. In 2013, she co-authored a popular textbook. “White Space is Not Your Enemy: A Beginner’s Guide to Communicating Visually through Graphic, Web and Multimedia Design.” The book widely adopted for use in Mass Communications departments across the United States, Now in its third edition, “White Space” has been translated into five languages.
In 2020, Hagen was invited to participate in the Adobe Education Leader community. The Adobe Education Leaders program highlights the contributions of innovative educators who are effectively using Adobe tools to promote excellence in the classroom.
